With Grot rifles, Borsuk infantry fighting vehicles, Krab self-propelled howitzers, and Piorun anti-aircraft launchers, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) [Polish armaments group -TVP World] will participate in the defense industry fair HEMUS in Bulgaria.

The International Defense Equipment and Services Exhibition HEMUS 2024 will take place from June 5, to June 8, in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The Polish Armaments Group and several of its constituent companies, including the Łucznik Arms Factory from Radom, Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW), and Mesko S.A., will be presenting at the fair.

“PGZ aims to be significantly more active in the European Union, including in multinational defense and research and development programs funded by the EU,” stated Krzysztof Trofiniak, president of the Group.

“Our equipment performs excellently in Ukraine, and our ambition is to become a leader within the EU community and offer the best ‘made in Poland’ solutions for our neighbors,” added Trofiniak.

He noted that the goal is to showcase PGZ’s role in the key modernization programs of the Polish Army, which, he assessed, “will certainly interest the Bulgarian armed forces, public security formations, and customers from other countries present at the fair.”

PGZ highlighted that the equipment on display will include weapons used by the Polish Army, including Grot rifles and VIS 100 pistols from the Radom-based “Łucznik,” new Borsuk infantry fighting vehicles, Rak self-propelled mortars, Krab self-propelled howitzers produced by HSW, and Piorun anti-aircraft launchers produced by Mesko.

The International Defense Equipment and Services Exhibition HEMUS has been held in Bulgaria every two years since 1995.
