Poland’s national team coach reveals EURO 2024 squad

Poland's EURO 2024 squad has been officially announced and includes many surprises, with the name of an absolute debutant among them.

On Wednesday, the Polish team’s coach, Michał Probierz, announced the preliminary squad of the Polish national team for the UEFA Euro 2024. This team will eventually be whittled down to 26.

The full squad features several surprises, including the debut of 19-year-old Kacper Urbański.

Notably absent is Matty Cash, who was ruled out due to injury. However, Arkadiusz Milik, who missed the last training camp, has returned to the national team. Additionally, goalkeeper Oliwier Zych will join the squad for the tournament.

Poland’s EURO 2024 squad:

Goalkeepers: Marcin Bułka (Nicea), Łukasz Skorupski (Bologna), Wojciech Szczęsny (Juventus), and Oliwier Zych (Puszcza Niepołomice) as an additional goalkeeper.

Defenders: Jan Bednarek (Southampton), Bartosz Bereszyński (Empoli), Paweł Bochniewicz (Heerenveen), Paweł Dawidowicz (Hellas Werona), Jakub Kiwior (Arsenal), Tymoteusz Puchacz (Kaiserslautern), Bartosz Salamon (Lech Poznań), Sebastian Walukiewicz (Empoli)
