Poland’s Minister of Digital Affairs, Krzysztof Gawkowski, is in Kyiv to meet his Ukrainian counterpart to discuss cyber security.
According to the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the main purpose of Monday’s visit is to reinforce Poland's support for Ukraine, particularly in the field of communications and cybersecurity, as well as planned activities related to the Polish presidency of the EU next year and Ukraine's support on its way to joining the European Union.
The ministry added that Poland has become the world's largest supplier of technology, ensuring Internet connectivity in Ukraine.
In the field of cybersecurity, Poland serves as the main analytical and coordination center of the Tallinn Mechanism, which aims to strengthen cooperation between NATO-allied countries in coordinating activities to support Ukraine in the area of cybersecurity.
Poland is also in third place in the world in terms of global support for Ukraine in connection with Russian aggression.
