In an interview with Poland’s public international news network, TVP World, the TV station’s Editor-in-Chief Michał Broniatowski dissected notable highlights in the recent speech given by Poland’s Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, indicating a shift in the country’s foreign policy, particularly regarding its stance on possibly altering EU treaties–an issue currently pivotal in Brussels–as well as changing Poland’s demands concerning damages perpetrated by Germany during WWII. He also spoke about TVP World’s mission, and the channel’s enormous opportunity to put forward Poland’s point of view in European politics.
Michał Broniatowski began his career at TVP in 1979, later working at Reuters and Interfax, where he held key international roles. He was also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Onet Group and contributed to founding Ukraine's Espreso TV. Since March he took over as TVP World’s editor-in-chief.
