A late goal from Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik propelled Juventus into the Coppa Italia final with a 3-2 aggregate victory over Lazio, despite a 2-1 loss in the second leg of their semi-final on Tuesday.
In the first leg, Juventus secured a 2-0 win at home, but Lazio’s forward Valentín Castellanos leveled the tie with two goals by the 48th minute of the second leg. But substitute Milik clinched an aggregate win for Juventus with a close-range goal seven minutes from time.
The final, set for May 15th, will take place at Stadio Olimpico.
This victory marks Juventus’ 22nd Coppa Italia final appearance. The team, which last won the Italian Cup in the 2020-21 season, holds a record 14 titles.𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗞, 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗞, 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗞

Lazio’s Castellanos gave the home fans hope early in the match with a header in the 12th minute, but despite further opportunities, Juventus ultimately prevailed, with Milik sealing the victory shortly after coming off the bench.
Milik, who did not make last month’s Poland squad for the European Championship play-off ties, will be eager to push his case to play a part at Euro 2024 in Germany this summer.
His chances have not only been increased by Tuesday night’s goal but also by UEFA’s expected decision to maintain the 26-man squad format.
UEFA had initially planned to revert to the maximum of 23 players but the expanded squad notion gained widespread support among international coaches.
