“This was a diplomatic charade that left everyone in a winning position, the United States, Israel, and Iran. Everybody won and everyone applauded them,” Palestinian Ambassador to Poland Mahmoud Khalifa told TVP World in an exclusive interview about the recent Iranian attack on Israel and the death of World Central Kitchen (WCK) volunteer Damian Soból in an IDF airstrike.
According to the ambassador, Iran’s attack was a diplomatic charade that did no harm to Israel and pushed the U.S. to agree to an Israeli invasion of Rafah.
“Everyone knows what the other goal of this attack was, to fill the sky with missiles and drones without harming a single person,” Ambassador Khalifa added.
In relation to the tragic death of Damian Soból, the Palestinian official said that he would like to extend his heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the WCK volunteer.
“He lost his life to save the lives of our women and children. Therefore what we have to say about the loss for the Polish people is: Thank you for your stance and thank you for what the World Central Kitchen has provided to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip,” the ambassador stressed.
