In light of the recent Iranian attack on Israel, it’s understandable that the attention of the world turns to the Middle East, but we cannot forget that the same Iranian drones that hit Israel are being used to destroy crucial infrastructure in Ukraine and, in some cases, residential areas.
Our guest, the Director of the European Resilience Initiative Center, emphasized that it is entirely natural for public opinion to get distracted by new events, particularly the attack we have recently seen launched by Iran on Israel.
“We need to say it openly; it’s not a secret for anyone in Ukraine; it’s not a secret for the Russians. Ukraine is out of air defense. Ukraine's air defense is depleted,” said Sumlenny.
