Polish speedway motorcyclists won their gold medal in the European Team Championship Grand Final in Grudziądz, northern Poland. The Poles, who were defending the title, scored 51 points and were ahead of Denmark (35), and Sweden (20). The fourth place went to the Czechs with 13 points. This is the third consecutive triumph of the Polish national team in the competition’s three-year history.
The most points for the Polish national team, 14, were won by Patryk Dudek. The Poles were in the lead from the first race, won by Bartosz Zmarzlik, and then consistently increased their points advantage over their opponents.
The Polish team’s performance was even and confident, and all the racers contributed to the final result. Zmarzlik won 13 points, as did Piotr Pawlicki, and Przemysław Pawlicki added another 10 points. Even reserve racer Wiktor Przyjemski scored a single point in his only race.
The second place went to the Danes, for whom the Swedes were hardly any competition. The Czechs were the background and came in last.

In 2022 in Poznań, Poland came ahead of the Danes and the Brits, and the Swedes came in third. In 2023, in Stralsund, Germany, Poles came ahead of Denmark and Great Britain.
