Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski spoke to the Israeli ambassador to Poland on Tuesday following the death of Pole in an IDF airstrike in the Gaza Strip. He also announced that he would speak with his Israeli counterpart, Israel Katz, on the matter.

Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said the incident would be investigated in the “Fact Finding and Assessment Mechanism,” which his statement called an “independent, professional, and expert body” without giving details.
In the afternoon, a statement signed by Israeli Foreign Ministry chief Israel Katz was published on the profile of the Israeli Embassy in Warsaw.

The victims were travelling in two armoured WCK cars when the convoy was hit on Monday as it was leaving a warehouse after unloading more than 100 tons of humanitarian food aid brought to Gaza by sea, WCK said.
