Athletics: Diamond League for the first time in Poland

World Athletics has decided to add this year’s Kamila Skolimowska Silesia Memorial in Chorzów to the calendar of the 2022 Diamond League, world’s most prestigious athletics series.

Kamila Skolimowska Memorial, an annual track and field meeting held at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów, will be featured in the Diamond League, informed the organisers of the Skolimowska Memorial on Friday.

On August 6, the Polish event will replace the meetings in Shenzhen and Shanghai, which have been cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
