Andrzej Duda first with 41.8 pct, Rafał Trzaskowski second with 30.4 pct: Exit Poll

The Exit Poll results prepared by the IPSOS institute show that President Andrzej Duda got the highest number of votes (41.8 pct). He is followed by the Civic Platform candidate Rafał Trzaskowski with 30.4 percent.

The next three candidates in the ranking are: an independent candidate and a television presenter Szymon Hołownia who gained 13.3 percent and Krzysztof Bosak, representing the radical right Confederacy with 7.4 percent.

The following places of the top classification in the elections were taken by: leftist Robert Biedroń with the support of the Democratic Left Alliance gaining 2.9 percent, and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz from the Polish People's Party with a result of 2.6 percent of the vote.

At the end of the list there are: Marek Jakubiak (0.5 pct), Stanisław Żółtek (0.3 pct), Paweł Tanajno (0.3 pct), Waldemar Witkowski (0.3 pct) and Mirosław Piotrowski (0.2 pct)

Turnout reached a record 62.9 pct.

Second round of the elections will take place on July, 12.
